The Freak Circus is a psychological horror visual novel revolving around the creepy atmosphere of a haunted circus. The game puts you in the role of a cafe employee who accidentally gets caught up in the haunting vortex of Pierrot - a silent yandere clown - and Harlequin, a charming but dangerous rival, turning everyday life into a distorted play, full of blood, obsession and deadly secrets.

A circus appears in the city, bright with lights, smiles and strange performances. But behind that splendid curtain, The Freak Circus hides dark secrets, where you become the main character in a haunting game, both charming and dangerous.

You are just an ordinary cafe employee, until the fateful day you collide with Pierrot, a silent clown but with a dangerous obsession. Not stopping there, Harlequin - Pierrot's stage rival - decides to join the fight. From here, you become the center of a twisted drama, where both characters use all means to fight for… you.

The Freak Circus is a scary visual novel that is all about telling stories and making choices. Here are the main points:

Pictures and sounds: Original paintings (Original Artwork) and backgrounds (BGs) were carefully chosen to make the game's mood beautiful and dark. You can trust sites like Pixabay and YouTube Audio Library to get the music and sound effects (SFX). This helps make the setting tense and dramatic for the players.
Choices and consequences: Each choice you make can change your path in a direct way.
Current features: Currently, the game has 2 main characters (Pierrot and Harlequin), 1 bad ending and 3 open endings, giving you different endings to explore. The game supports 3 languages: English, Portuguese (BR) and Chinese.
Content warning: This is an experience for players 18+, with sensitive elements such as: blood, death, references to cannibalism, abuse, strong language, kidnapping and involuntary drug use. The game also has screen shaking scenes.

The Next Journey Of The Freak Circus

Developer Neko Bueno shared that the script of The Freak Circus is still in the process of being completed and many important knots have not been opened. Future updates will not only add more content, but also expand the entire story, taking players to new climaxes:

Pierrot's own ending: delve deeper into the haunting, sick love, and tragedy of the silent clown.
Harlequin's own ending: reveal the dark side behind the charm, along with untold secrets.
Protagonist's ending: give you the chance to decide your own fate, escape or continue to be trapped in the spiral of madness.
"All Together" ending: a grand finale, where all three characters face off, opening up a surprising and unpredictable ending.

In the current version, after players have experienced all the content, the story will continue with a new day in the game (Day Two). This is the part that is currently in development and promises to be the door to more suspenseful details, pushing the horror-haunting atmosphere of the Freak Circus to a new level.
